About White Roxx

A Northern Irish metal band 1984-86, White Roxx gained some notoriety on the local circuit. The band were based in Portrush and derived their name from a local beauty spot, the White Rocks. The White Rocks car park was notorious as an out of town night time hangout for local low life. They released a demo album "On The Rocks" but failed to secure a record deal and split up in mid 1986.

The poorman's Whitesnake. I did hear that a reunion was on the cards a while back. Can anyone else add anything? Was there any material released after "On The Rocks" and "On The Boxx"? I found some early tracks on emule, quality.

These guys were the business. They kicked ass regularly in my home town. OK so I was only 16 at the time and smashed on cider, but they were the best live act I ever saw. 'Nough said.
