About Purple Haze
Purple Haze were a melodic hard rock band from the Waterford/Wexford area. They orginally formed in 1980. There was sesveral line up changes over the bands five year life span. They recorded their debute single in Slane studio 1985. Hear it on the radio was their debut single and it was well received in the music press including a Jon Bon Jovi review in Kerrang magazine.Video

There was a Dublin band called purple haze also , They were a blues metal band and had super talent we used to go and see them in newpark school and at some of there gigs around Dublin ,One of them went on to play in the Mary Janes I think ,
