Derry based band briefly signed to U2's Mother Records record label
About Tie the Boy
Tie the Boy were a Derry based band who were briefly signed to the Mother Records record label owned by U2. That deal foundered soon after the band's move from Northern Ireland to London and in-fighting amongst the members of that band led rapidly to its split. The guitarist, Peter Cunnah, went on to form 1990s dance-pop duo D:ream.
