Horslips Exhibition in May - Ballinamore

The South Leitrim Arts Group would like to invite you to the opening of the 'terrifyingly comprehensive, utterly impressive' Horslips Exhibition 'Sweethearts of the Dancehalls' in the Solas Art Gallery, Ballinamore on the 30th May 2008 at 8.00pm.

This exhibition aims to remember the important contribution Horslips made to the emerging Irish rock scene; to re-visit a slice of Irish cultural and social life in the 1970's and to take advantage of a great resource collected over time by the Horslips Exhibition Group.

This will be the first time the Exhibition comes to the North West.

On the same night as the exhibition opening, Johnny Fean and Steve Travers will be performing in the Commercial Hotel, Main Street Ballinamore.
(just up the road from the gallery).

The hotel is also offering a special overnight rate for those attending the Horslips Events on the evening (Hotel Tel: 071-9644675).

The exhibition runs until June 14th, and the Solas Gallery is open from 10am-6pm Monday - Saturday.
