Year of the Rats tour

Boomtown Rats guitarist Garry Roberts & drummer Simon Crowe are going out on tour playing the songs you love.

It is a back-to-basics approach, intended to reflect the earthy spirit and sound of the early Rats.

The band will feature Garry Roberts on Guitar, Simon Crowe on drums with the addition of Peter Barton of The Animals on bass, and Darren Beale of The Electric Shepherds on lead guitar.

In addition, Johnnie Fingers has signalled his intention to join the band as soon as circumstances allow.

The gigs kick-off in August 2008 with the following confirmed dates:

 Thursday 7th Electric Ballroom, London
