Your favourite - from the newly discovered bands from here

Well some of you may know that since my visiting this part of the world, and mainly because of that darn jukebox here, I have bought a few CD's of new (to me ) music (OK I admit one band not from here).
I have bought in the last month 4 CD's (+ one on its way) of new stuff. I bought them in the first place because they received my seal of approval. I won't buy a CD just so that I can populate my already busy CD tower, it's got to talk to me and those CD's did. So of course they are all brilliant, but there has to be a winner.
To recap, I got the following:
Voodoo Loons
Mellow Drops
Barry McCabe
The Indulgers (that's the band not from here)
Simple Kid (still on its way but did you know that my bear's comments did get published after all...hopefully it's not as a result of my complaining....)
And the winner is.... "bear" in mind LOL, they are all winners for having bought them in the first place....
VOODOO LOONS
From all the snippets of all the other Irish bands being presented here, via MySpace, there hasn't been anything else to stand out. Lots of good bands, good music, but none other have talked to me yet. I would be more likely to go and pay money to see some of these live for the ambiance of a gig, the party aspect of it, but not to have a CD of them I may never listen to.
What is your new revelation ??
