Late 60s bluesy rock band that fetured Brian Downey on drums

About Sugar Shack

Sugar Shack were a short lived bluesy rock band that featured Brian Downey on drums. They played a mixture of covers and originals and released one single, Morning Dew/Sunshine Of Your Love, both covers, which went to #17 in the Irish charts. After they split, Downey joined his mate Phil Lynott with whom he had earlier been in a band called The Black Eagles, to form Orphanage and later, famously, Thin Lizzy.
