The person you are on about is Robbie Hurley, one great gentleman. Didn't have an easy up bringing and ended up very unhappy in the band. Went to Medigorie and he did indeed find a spiritual life.

Might have the wrong band and the wrong person here, but I remember a in school one day, a guy came to talk about how he left his band to follow Jesus! The band? Winter's Reign! I can't remember his name, I just remember him with a ponytail. 1989/1990?

Ella Sullivan : he was in London around 1990 but I have no idea where he is now. ( and to everyone else : sorry for the previous triple entries, the page went blank and I thought that it had not registered)

Brian Lynch played keyboards with them also. Great player and a nice guy. I played bass with them for a few months while they were looking for a bass player – I could not join them as I had a full-time job elsewhere.

The 1987 album "The Beginning" was a masterpiece of melodic rock!
