About Ian Lynch
Ian Lynch is an avant-folk artist and founding member of avant-garde folk group Lankum. He has also been involved in metal and punk projects including black metal outfit SODB and precursor project Dordaid Dam.
With his side-project 'One Leg One Eye' he released the debut album …And Take The Black Worm With Me on Nyahh Records in 2022.
In 2024 Lynch released All You Need Is Death, the soundtrack album to a horror film of the same name. This album made IrishRockers.com's top ten albums of 2024 list.
Lynch is also a musicologist with deep knowledge of folk and traditional music of Ireland and beyond and he shares his enthusiasm and knowledge in the fascinating podcast Fire Draw Near.
