John, Shelly and the Creatures is a Northern Irish band that released an album 'Dinosaur' in 2010 and subsequently changed their name to Master & Dog. John, Shelly and the Creatures formed in February 2007 after a chance meeting in Berlin with two homeless Irish twins named John and Shelly, and are made up of band members: Kevin Carlisle (Drums, percussion & vox), Philip Watts d'Alton (guitar, vox, keys, bass, mandolin), Ger Gormley (bass, guitar, mandolin, vox) and Walter (guitar, vox, keys, programming and drums).
The band's debut album 'Dinosaur' includes their single 'Long May You Reign' which they performed on RTE's 'The Late Late Show' and on Dave Fanning's 'The 11th Hour' also on RTE Television.
