About Stand-Up Guy
Stand-Up Guy were formed in 2000 from the ashes of Shakedown and they have been compared to the likes of Will Haven, Neurosis and Deftones.
Stand-Up Guy gigged industriously around Ireland developing a substantial fan-base. Illustrious support slots including Freebase, Inside Conflict, Pale Horse Unsane and Red Sparowes. They head-lined the famed F*ck Witness Festival.
Stand-Up Guy toured with the likes of Medulla Nocte, Dawncore, Darkest Hour & Murder One. They toured Ireland on a triple headlining tour with Set In Silence and Spindrift in August 2002. They toured Scotland with Spindrift. Irish tour with Murder One, May 03. Tour of Scotland with Spindrift, August 03. Full tour of Scandinavia with The Dagda in 2003. UK tour with Involution in 2004. UK tour with Skypilot in 2005.
