Shoegazey indie-rock band formed in Cork in 2018
About The Drive.
Initially formed in 2018 as a four-piece, Cork-based outfit The Drive. later pared down to a three-piece consisting of Eoin Murphy (guitar/vocals), Aaron Kenny (Guitar/vocals), and Alex Redmond Galligan (drums).
Following signing to Waterford's independent label Egg Twelve Records, The Drive. released their debut single 'Cigarettes and Lemonade' in early 2020. Since 2020, The Drive have released a number of singles and EPs.
The Drive.’s live endeavours includes festivals spanning the UK & Ireland, support to the likes of The Blue Stones, The K's, and an abundance of sold-out Irish headline shows including The Grand Social (Dublin) and Cyprus Avenue (Cork).
