Eoghan Colgan is a singer-songwriter, (and also a doctor!) originally from Newcastle Co. Down. A guitarist since the age of 15 he began song-writing and performing whilst at university in Belfast. His songs have strong, beautiful melodies with lyrics about love, life and friendship in a variety of musical styles. This musical mixture together with a powerful voice and natural stage presence is what has made him so appealing in many countries around the world. After two years working in Australia he moved to Glasgow in September 2004 to concentrate on finally achieving his musical potential. Within a year he found himself going from open mic and coffee shops to frequent airplay on BBC radio Scotland and Q96, headline performances at some of the biggest and best venues in Scotland and invites to international music festivals abroad. He released 'That First Time' E.P. in 2006 and a single 'Dream Satellite' in 2009. Shortly after that he faded from the music scene to concentrate on his day job, being a doctor.
