About The Answer

The Answer, a hard rock band from Newcastle and Downpatrick, Co. Down, formed in 2000 with guitarist Paul Mahon, bassist Micky Waters, drummer James Heatley, and lead singer Cormac Neeson. Their debut album, Rise (2006), sold over 30,000 copies in the UK and Europe, and achieved significant success in Japan and worldwide.

After forming, they gained early recognition with their 2005 Classic Rock magazine award for Best New Band and went on to support major acts like Deep Purple and Aerosmith. They reissued Rise in 2007 with additional tracks and supported bands like The Rolling Stones and The Who.

In 2008, they released the EP Never Too Late and supported AC/DC on their Black Ice World Tour, significantly boosting their international profile. Their second album, Everyday Demons (2009), was recorded in LA and further established their global presence.

The band continued to tour and release music, including Revival (2010) and Solas (2016), and embarked on a UK tour in 2017 featuring their new single and a documentary film about their tour life.

Just saw the band play in cincinnati, ohio with AC/DC and I thought they were great. I had a blast, and AC/DC were AWSOME. SUCH A GREAT SHOW.

Currently on tour throughout the States with AC/DC on the biggest comeback tour in history...so they should be playing in a stadium somewhere near you!
