About Mocrac

Mocrac was started by Maurice Ferriter to promote his solo album 'Cash Is King', which was given a small independent release in 2004 with a mixture of guest vocalists and musicians. After finalising a line-up to to promote the album and undertaking some serious rehearsal, the creative potential of the band came to the fore. The band returned to the studio to re-record some vocals and guitar bits and finish off a few undeveloped ideas. However, as many new songs emerged the original album began to be totally revamped, with not just new vocals, guitar bits and beats, but several new songs as well. The eponymously titled revamped album was released online, and got it's physical release in Autumn 2007 on Reekus Records.
