About Brian Houston
Brian Houston from the East side of Belfast is known for his easy humorous rapport with his live audience. He is a devout Christian and some of his lyrics have a Christian theme but he has a wide appeal not just limited to a Christian audience.Brian began performing on Belfast's pub scene and throughout the nineties he fronted a succession of bands as he experimented with different styles and searched for his own sound. He recorded some demos and achieved local chart success with his own compositions, which helped to score him support slots with visiting international stars including fellow Belsfast native Van Morrison, Elvis Costello and Dr John.
Over the years he has released a string of albums including 'Mea Culpa' in 2003, 'Thirteen Days' in 2004. He realesd a gospel album 'Jesus and Justice' in 2005. His 2006 album, 'Sugar Queen is his biggest seller.
