About New Sunset Hotel
New Sunset Hotel were a four-piece indie rock band from Castlebar formed in 2009. The band was comprised of Mark Calvey (guitar), Ian McDonnell (drums), John Murray (vocals/piano),Tommy O’Hora (bass).
Their debut single The Bitter End reached the Top 10 of the Irish charts. They released a self-titled EP in 2013. They have played support for Bell XI, Pete Doherty and The Coronas.
