About The Black Eagles

The Black Eagles were a teenage covers band that was the first band of Phil Lynott and Brian Downey who went on to from Thin Lizzy. They were active from 1965 to 67 and split up when Brian Downey left to join Sugar Shack. Phil Lynott went on to join Skid Row before reuniting with Downey in Orphanage in 1969.
