About Berserk
While the band did not record any material during its career it left a lasting legacy in terms of the Cork punk scene and the groups which it spawned
Drummer Aidan McCarthy, started a series of new bands, most notably Romeo Butcher (punk band with future Black Velvet Band leader Kieren Kennedy), Kidz and Adolf Grunt, before his death in a car crash in 1981. Paul O'Mahony went on to perform with Orpheus, Vice Versa and Factor Fiction before forming the Loko Parentis project along with members of Nun Attax and Constant Reminders (Microdisney). He would record with Totally Unpredictable before resurrecting the Loko Parentis name in 2007. Mike O'Brien played with Paul in Vice Versa and Factor Fiction. Vincent Lyons was involved with Orpheus and Factor Fiction.
