Dubliner Brush Shiels is a well known figure in the Irish rock scene since coming to prominence as leader of Skid Row in late 60s. That band also featured the famously brilliant rock guitarist Gary Moore and, for awhile, the great Phil Lynott, who Brush taught how to play bass.
After Skid Row, Shiels continued playing, touring and recording. He is a well known character to Irish TV audiences and has had his own show on RTE as well as numerous other TV appearances on various talk shows and documentaries over the decades.
