Mrnorth was an alternative rock band from Dublin known for their following in Vicenza, Italy, during the early 2000s. The band's lineup included Colin Smith (vocals/guitar), Emmett O'Malley (guitar/vocals), Oisin O'Malley (bass/keyboards), and Adrian Mordaunt (drums/percussion). After gaining recognition in Dublin, Mrnorth moved to Vicenza, Italy, where they toured and gained local acclaim.
The band later relocated to New York, securing a record deal with Uninhibited Records. They released their debut album Lifesize in 2004, produced by Jerry Harrison of Talking Heads. In 2006, they released the digital EP Sleeping Dogs under Rock Ridge Music. Their 2007 album Fear & Desire featured contributions from The Greenwich Village Orchestra and was accompanied by a release concert at Florence Gould Hall in New York City.
Mrnorth's final album, Everything, was released in 2011, and the band performed a special concert at Florence Gould Hall with the support of an orchestra and choir on September 16, 2011, marking the end of their musical journey.
