About Afro Celt Sound System
Afro Celt Sound System is an international collective of musicians who fuse electronic music with traditional Irish/Celtic and West African music. The group has featured some Irish musicians including Davy Spillane Ronan Browne, Martin Hayes, Mairéad Ní Mhaonaigh, Mundy, Mairead Nesbitt, Steáfán Hannigan, Iarla Ó Lionáird. Sinéad O'Connor collaborated with the group on their second album 'Volume 2: Release' released in 1999.
