About Asylum Road
Asylum Road are a metal band from Derry formed in 2021. They blend influences from groove, metalcore, NWOAHM and deathcore to create their unique brand of metal, a strong Pantera is fairly obvious.
Their founding member, Dylan Kelly, started work on the project in 2019 - writing and recording all the band’s early material alongside vocalist, Darryn McCartney. In 2023 the line-up was solidified with the additions of Brian Smyth on bass and Eithan Murray on Drums. The band immediately began work their debut release.
