Dublin-based 3 piece noise rock outfit

About Bucket

Bucket is a Dublin-based 3 piece noise rock outfit consisting of guitarist/vocalist Cian Dahdouh, bassist Emmett McNamee, and drummer Josh Dorrell. Bucket started out following the DIY ethics of garage and punk rock, soon earning a reputation for their sweaty live shows. Their debut release was their DIY 8-track cassette & digital album ‘The Big Sin’ which they put out in October of 2021. The band's debut headline saw them sell out The Workman’s Club, soon playing an array of wall-to-wall DIY shows across Ireland.

2023 marked a shift in sonic direction for the band, embracing elements of noise rock and hardcore to forge a unique and shockingly abrasive sound. Bucket aims to test the limits of volume and intensity, delivering a punishing live experience, packing out headline shows in Dublin and Galway as well as playing support to the likes of Heavy Lungs, Press Club and Yard. Since signing with independent label house A Baker's Dozen, Bucket have released two stand alone singles; "Who Knows?" and "Budgie" as a statement of intent, aiming to introduce the new direction of the band and set the stage for what is to come.

Bucket kicked off 2024 with a flying start, playing to a sold out Whelan's main room at the "Ones to Watch" festival, supporting Mexican post-rock legends Austin TV as well as embarking on their ‘BROKE BUDGIES WORLD TOUR’ which saw the band headline Paris’ Super Sonic Club.
