A four-piece band from Derry in Northern Ireland formed in 1992. The original lineup was Fergal Corscadden (guitar / vocals), Jason Flood (guitar / vocals), Una Page (bass / vocals) and Brian Deery (drums). The band went through some lineup changes and a later lineup included Ruairi Doherty (vocals / bass) and Andrew Ferris (guitar / vocals).
Cuckoo signed to Geffen and released their debut and only album 'Breathing Lessons' in 1998. The quartet released three singles off the album, 'Non-Sequitur', 'Blackmail' and 'What's It All About' which did moderately well in Ireland.
In 1999, the original line up changed somewhat and despite a ferocious live show the band disappeared off the radar and supposedly disbanded, much to the detriment of Irish rock music.
Andrew Ferris went on to form Jetplane Landing.
