About Decal

The electronica group Decal was formed in 1993 as a duo - Alan O'Boyle and Dennis McNulty. Influenced by a mix of genres, they initially aimed for a blend of guitars and electronics but ended up as an entirely electronic act due to recording challenges. They released their debut album, Ultramack 004, in 1994. In 1998 they released the album Lo-Lite and 2002 saw the release of 404 Not Found. McNulty left in 2003 and O'Boyle continued on by himself releasing Brightest Star in 2003, Release Through Velocity in 2004 and Feel So Fine in 2006.

In 2009 Alan O'Boyle formed another project Legion of Two along with David Lacey.
