Since then Costello has become one of the top names in the international music scene and has travelled down many musical paths in his prolific output of recordings. He has collobarated with great and diverse tallents as Burt Bacharach, The Brodsky Quartet, Paul McCartney, Swedish mezzo-soprano, Anne Sofie von Otter, guitarist, Bill Frisell, composer, Roy Nathanson, The Charles Mingus Orchestra and record producer and songwriter, T-Bone Burnett.

Elvis Costello is the stage name of English born Declan Patrick McManus of Irish ancestory. Costello was born in London and grew up in Liverpool. He lived in Dublin for a number of years while he was in a long term relationship with ex-Pogues bassist Cait O'Riordan. Elvis met Cait while producing The Pogues seminal album 'Rum Sodomy and the Lash'. While living in Dublin he recorded a number of his albums in Windmill Lane Studios (including 'Spike', 'All This Useless Beauty' and 'When I Was Cruel'). He currently lives in New York with his wife, jazz singer Diana Krall.
