About Fingersmith

Fingersmith were a melodic post grunge band that blend raw energy and emotion with tight accomplished musicianship. They started in 2001 and were called Silo until the band changed its name in 2009 to coincide with the launch of their debut album The Annexe. Their album was recorded at Manor Park Studio, Northern Ireland and produced by Neil Calderwood (Fighting With Wire, The Answer). They recorded live sessions for 2fm with DJ Cormac Battle who described the band as ‘the best unsigned band in the world’.

Discography includes: Unlucky for Some (2008 Single- featured on 2fm live session), The Annexe (2009)

Fingersmith folded in 2013, playing their last gig at Cypress Avenue on 26th April.
