Herm is the music of Kevin Connolly who performs live with his band, The Hermanos.

About Herm

Kevin Connolly, a Galway native, has released music as "Herm" and as "Kevin Herm Connolly". Connolly is a veteran songwriter who has has been creating music since he was eight. He started his music career with a band called "Bliss" when he was a teenager and later joined an alt-country band called "El Diablo" with his brother, releasing two albums and touring in Ireland and the USA. Herm's music is inspired by Tom Waits, The Beatles, Pavement, Spiritualized. Herm has had a full band, 'The Hermanos' for playing live. The Hermanos have played gigs as a 1,2,3,4,5 and 6 piece featuring drums, bass, guitars, keys, strings and occasional guest vocalists.

Herm released the Rosemary EP in 2005. In 2007 he started working on his debut album, 'Monsters'. This was released in 2009 and received acclaim from critics and comparisons to Beck and Tom Waits.

In 2010, he formed a duo called Clancy with Paul Clancy, recording Road to the Heart before Paul’s untimely passing. The album was released posthumously and praised for its beauty.

Kevin’s second collection, Make It Up, released in 2019 and was released as "Kevin Herm Connolly" rather than "Herm" as his first album was. It showcases his evolution as a songwriter, moving toward a more reflective style and has been described as “accomplished and impressive”.

Connolly has spent a lot of time living and travelling in South America and Spain.
