In October 2018, Late Night Pharmacy released their second EP, “Flamingo,” which gained airplay on several Irish and international radio stations. They supported the EP with numerous Dublin shows, sharing stages with acts like Daithí, Classic Yellow, Daly, and Cable Boy.
September 2020 saw the band being chosen as one of four Irish groups for the TiLT Development Deal, a partnership with Totally Irish 98FM and the Sound Training College. This opportunity included a performance at the Button Factory and recording sessions at the Sun Studios in Temple Bar. Later, in November 2020, they received funding from the Department of Culture’s Music Industry Stimulus Package to record several tracks. They enlisted producer Aidan Cunningham (known for his work with The Blizzards, Overhead the Albatross, The Scratch, and Nealo) to produce and mix three of these songs.
Throughout 2021, the band released these tracks as singles, gaining significant attention and airplay. They celebrated their success with sold-out shows at the Button Factory and Whelan’s in September and October, respectively. In August 2022, Late Night Pharmacy continued their momentum with the release of their new single, “Is It Because.”
