About Mourning Of The Heretic
Mourning Of The Heretic are a metal band from Derry. Their variety of metal is primarily black metal but also includes elements of symphonic death metal, doom and goth (they covered The Sisters of Mercy). They formed in 2010 and were active until 2016, and then restarted in 2023. They released two EPs in 2013 and 2016 and their debut album, To the Shadows Betrothed, in 2024.
