Rollers|Sparkers were an experimental three-piece formed in Dublin in 2001. They released their debut album Second Level Crossing in 2004. Their second album Hames was released in 2008. Following this, the band didn't release any new material until the release of the single ‘Slit Fricative’ in 2013. This was a track from their forthcoming album Interior Minstry which finally saw digital release in 2016.The album was culled from 80 hours of material recorded in a house in Galway with producer/engineer Jimmy Eadie. In an Irish Times review, Donal Dineen described the album as ".... a sparkling diamond of a record. A pure gem. It bristles with energy and purpose. There’s a wide range of dynamics but it leaves no stone unturned in knitting the various pieces together to make them sound cohesive and true. There’s honesty and truth bursting from its seams."
