The Arrangements were a four piece Indie/Rock outfit from Waterford formed by Joe Kenny in 2006. They made their first public appearance in Paul Flynns, Waterford 20th April, followed by a support slot with UK Chart Toppers The Feeling in Whelans, Dublin, 2 days later. The following month saw the band embarking on a mini 5 date tour supporting Polydor's latest signing, Irish indie outfit The Flaws, Their music is a blend of Indie Rock with a good helping of pop sensibilities, blending the occasional synth/piano melody into the mix to adjust the colour and contrast. This is not a manicured pop affair, but a hard edgy infectious aural assault, with the rhythm section delivering a driving thunderously tight performance. Add the outstanding emotive falsetto vocals from your front man, coupled with urgent lead lines from Kenny, and you have a 4 piece packing one major punch. In November 2006 they were picked as the local support (Waterford) on the 2FM 2moro tour, and in December their track Mr.Frazier was featured in the Coke-iTunes Irish podcast. January 07 saw the band being invited to perform a 2FM session for the Dan Hegarty show. In 2007 they were invited to be part of the IMRO showcase tour and the National Student Music Awards. Their local success in Ireland culminated in accolades such as NSMA finalists and a Tisch Hotpress Video award for their song 'Mr. Frazier' in 2008.
Joe Kenny went on to focus more on pop songwriting, in 2016 his track Raise the Night was selected as a Pop Finalist in The Great American Songwriting Competition, that same year he became a finalist in a UK Songwriting Competition, which landed him a stint on an 8 week TV show, Tin Pan Alley. In 2022 he formed Dance/Electro Pop solo project J-M-K..
