About The Baby Snakes

The Baby Snakes were formed in 1985 by Frank Rynn (vocals, guitar) and John Bonnie (drums), both who had been in Those Handsome Devils. Bonnie left early on and there were a few different drummers throughout the bands existence. Brian Downey from Thin Lizzy played drums on their first album Sweet Hunger, released in 1988. Prior to that they had released an EP Songs for Subliminal Kids and live cassette This City Sucks. The Baby Snakes released an EP and two LPs, This City Sucks and Sweet Hunger, before moving to London in 1988. They remained in London until they broke up in 1993.

Their Rebel Radio LP was produced by Sex Pistols audio engineer, Dave Goodman, and was released in 1990.
