About The Kybosh

The Kybosh are a Dublin-based four-piece band, who have been playing, gigging and writing songs in their current lineup since summer '05.

Recent reviews and critique have compared their music to the likes of Interpol, Joy Division, The Cure, Killing Joke and Echo and the Bunnymen, with a pop twist.

The last year has seen them play in venues such as the Temple Bar Music Centre, a headlining slot in Crawdaddy, and supporting Rough Trade Record's 1990s in Whelans.

They've been played and featured live on the likes of Phantom 105.2, Spin1038, Newstalk 106, Anna Livia and Raidió na Life, as well as gaining notable coverage and favourable critique in The Irish Independent, The Evening Herald, Connected Magazine and Hot Press.

In 2007 they released their debut single "Rubicon" which entered the Irish Top 50.
