About The Risen Dread
The Risen Dread is a metal band from Dublin specialising in a hybrid of groovy thrash metal and metalcore. Since forming in 2019, they have grown from the Irish underground scene to an international touring act, building a reputation for their intense sound and energetic live shows. They released their debut studio album Night Hag in 2022.
The Risen Dread released a second studio album called "Death From Above" in 2025 via Time To Kill Records. Produced, recorded, mixed, and mastered by Marco Mastrobuono at Bloom Studios in Guidonia, Rome, Italy. This new record showcases the band's evolution, delivering an even heavier, darker, and more intense sonic experience.
