About The Scratch

Started as a fun experiment in the kitchen of a house in Perrystown, The Scratch are a 4-piece acoustic act from Dublin, Ireland. Born from a shared love of acoustic guitar, metal and traditional Irish music, The Scratch have moulded triumphant melodies with the groove and intensity of metal. In fact, members of The Scratch were previously in a metal band called Red Enemy, who released an album and toured the UK and US. After Red Enemy fizzled out, four of its five members formed The Scratch.

They released their first album Couldn't Give A Rats, in 2020. James Vincent McMorrow produced their second studio album, Mind Yourself, which was released in 2023.

The Scratch are:

Conor Dockery (guitar, backing vocals)
Cathal McKenna (bass/backing vocals)
Daniel Lang (cajón, percussion, lead vocals)
Jordan O'Leary (guitar, lead vocals)
