About Yurt
YURT is an experimental heavy trio from Dublin formed in 2006. Blending progressive metal with noise rock, psychedelia, and avant-garde influences, the band is known for dense, unpredictable compositions and a DIY ethos rooted in Ireland’s underground scene. Their lineup has included Steven Anderson (guitar/vocals), Andrew Bushe (drums), and Boz Mugabe (bass/electronics), and they’ve released multiple albums including V – Upgrade to Obsolete (2022) and VI – Rippling Mirrors of the Other (2025).
