Band formed by Johnny Fean and Eamon Carr of Horslips from 1980 to 1983
About Zen Alligators
Zen Alligators, a short lived but much appreciated R&B/rock act, rose from the ashes of Horslips in the early 80s. Johnny Fean (vocals, guitar) and Eamon Carr (drums) from Horslips were joined by bass player Gary Eglington and Philip Fay on guitar. They released a number of singles in 1980 and 1981, including "The Invisible Man", "Berlin Wall" and "Voodoo".
Initially they were called The Alligators but later added Zen when they found that there was another band with that name.
