Ghost Of An American Airman
Northern Irish band of late 80's, early 90's

About Ghost Of An American Airman

Ghost of an American Airman formed in Belfast, in the mid '80s. The band released their first single, 'I Hear Voices', in 1987. However, 5 years passed before the group's major-label debut, 'Life Under Giants', in 1992. But the band never made a commercial breakthrough. Ghost of an American Airman's final album, 1993's Skin, received glowing reviews but little radio interest.

I saw GOAAA on April 8th, 1992 in Buffalo, NY at a club called the Marquee. My friend's band, Ansley Court, were the openers. If anyone knows the setlist of that tour, I would love to log it in my database at nssworld. Thank you.

I saw them twice in Tulsa, Oklahoma in my late teens. A bunch of my friends would gather and all go together just to see them. We all had the "Life Under Giants' CD. I found the CD today and even now in my mid-forties I know and love every song. Yes!
