About Shortest Straw
Shortest Straw are a Belfast based metal band combining a brutal mix of thrash, death, beatdown hardcore and metalcore .
The band formed in two parts, with Paul O'Rourke (Vocals) and Kyle Maguinness (Guitar) working relentlessly on countless demos having grown up playing guitar together. The other half formed through Brian Gribben (Guitar), Alex Williams (Drums) and Daryl Hill (Bass) in late 2023.
