About Thee Amazing Colossal Men
Formed in 1985 by Joey Barry, Sid Rainey and Garret Lee. They recorded two demos during 1987 and were signed by Siren Records in February 1989. In 1990 they released the album ‘Totale’ on Siren Records. They had a dispute with Siren Records and sued them for breach of contract and won.
In 1990 due to these legal issues the band was reborn as Compulsion.
Garret Lee later became Jacknife Lee and worked as a producer (U2, Snow Patrol).
