Aeternum Vale is a five-piece Melodic Black Metal band from Dublin formed in 2012. They channel the old-school Melodic Black Metal vibe of the mid-1990s, blending Swedish Gothenburg harmonies with Norwegian Black Metal's cold aesthetics.The band prioritizes quality over quantity in both live performances and studio releases, delivering powerful and atmospheric shows. They have shared stages with prominent acts like Primordial, Rotting Christ, 1349, and Behemoth.
Their debut album, Inter Arma Enim Silent Leges, released in January 2015, features eight intense tracks recorded live. It has been well-received internationally, and their debut video for “Smash the Pillars” (see below) has garnered thousands of views.
