Denise Chaila (b. 1993) is a Zambian-Irish rapper, singer and poet based in Limerick. She first came to attention through collaborations with the collective Rusangano Family before launching a solo career. Her mixtape Go Bravely (2020) won the RTÉ Choice Music Prize for Irish Album of the Year. Blending hip-hop, spoken word, and Afro-diasporic influences, her work often explores themes of identity, race, and belonging in contemporary Ireland.
