About Uragh
Uragh are a metal band from Dublin formed in 2022 focused on creating a new sound with complex rhythms and song structures, mixing heavy grooves with musical ebbs and flows. In 2023 the band burst into the Irish metal scene, with the release of their first single 'Decimate', as well 'Monarch' which was the first single for their debut album 'Maelstrom'. 'Maelstrom' was released on April 2024. In order to promote the album the band made toured across Ireland playing in Cork, Derry, Enniscorthy, Belfast besides the usual Dublin.
The band reached Bloodstock Metal To The Masses finals two years in a row, while winning Wacken Metal Battle Ireland and playing Wacken Open Air 2024.
In 2025 Uragh released the EP Stalemate.
