About Virgins
Virgins are a shoegaze, guitar pop/rock band from Belfast. Virgins was formed by Michael Smyth and at the time of recording their debut EP 'Transmit a Little Heaven', it was initially a mostly solo project. Smyth brought in Rebecca Dow to do vocals for the EP and she became the vocalist for the band. The band fleshed out to a full five piece.A couple of singles ‘s l o w l y, l o n g’ and 's o f t e r' followed the EP. The band’s debut album ‘Nothing Hurt and Everything Was Beautiful’ was released in April 2024 through Galway-based label Blowtorch Records.
