Trojan were formed in 1982 in Dublin. Their music was traditional heavy metal with celtic and folk influences. They released one full-length album, 'The March Is On', in 1988. The band split-up some time after The March Is On but reformed with a new lineup for the 1992 demo Night Killer.

Band did not split up until 1992 after Nightkiller EP, Robbie Cahill was not a member of Trojan.
