Four piece alternative rock band from Co. Westmeath

About Crimson

Crimson were a four piece alternative rock band hailing from Co. Westmeath, Ireland. After many years of paying tribute to their heroes as a covers group, Crimson left the covers circuit and began writing their own material. Supporting many bands especially at their local venue The Stables in Mullingar the guys have crafted their Classic Rock sound to what it is today, a fresh take on the genre. After many delays and several attempts to record they finally got around to recording their debut album ‘Untamed Underground Unwell’ at various points in 2008 & 2009 at the Barn Studios in Drumlish, Co. Longford with Mick Cronin, drummer of the Aftermath at the helm. The album was mastered by Fergal Davis in Suite Studios in Dublin in 2009 and was launched at the Stables in Mullingar in June of that year.

Lineup:

Fergal O'Rourke (lead vocals, rhythm guitar)

Aidan O'Rourke (lead guitar, bvs)
