About Stoat

Stoat is a result of 2 school friends since the 1980s, John and Cormac, who got together to play music. Years later they were joined by a drummer, Stephen, and Stoat was the result. That was the late 90s.They recorded various singles and EPs and then put out their first album, ‘Future, Come and Get Me’, in 2005. After an extended hiatus, they recorded and released a second album, Try Not To Think About It, in 2018. At that point they brought in a fourth member to help them perform the songs from the album.

Members:

  1. John Aherne - Vocals & Guitar
  2. Cormac Parle - Vocals, Bass Guitar & Piano
  3. Stephen Whelan - Drums
