About Soma State
The sound of Soma State reflects their own take on rock music, displaying a gritty hard edge, tinged with elements of funk and blues. Soma State evolved from a successful covers band that toured the south of Ireland. However, the breakup of that band allowed time for the remaining members to pursue their main interest of writing and recording their own material. They released their self titled debut album in 2007.
